ingredients
250g raw beetroot, boiled, peeled and pureed
200g plain chocolate
250g butter
250g golden caster sugar
3 large free range eggs
150g self raising flour
step 1
heat the oven to gas mark 4 180C
melt the chocolate and butter together in a pan
step 2
whisk together the sugar and eggs, then pour in the melted chocolate and butter
step 3
fold in the flour and then mix in the beetroot.
step 4
pour mixture into a lined tin and bake for about 30 mins, or until a skewer comes out just a little bit sticky (they are brownies after all)
ready to eat. yumm sooo good!
i also just wanted to share with you some christmas presents i wrapped using paper and tags made at the handmade christmas event which was held recently by saltash environmental action group.

yum! I made chocolate courgette cake earlier in the year to use up some of the glut, it was super nice too (although it sounds pretty suspect!)Have a fabulous xmas! See you in the new year x
